Verifying Call Extension Numbers in Google Ads

The best way to ensure WildJar tracking numbers are verified as call extensions is to link your Google Ads and Google Search Console accounts.  

If you are using the previous Google Ads appearance, click here to skip to the instructions for the old version.

Please follow the below steps to link Google Ads and Search Console:

1. Click Tools, then Data Manager
   
   
   
2. Click + Connect Product
   
3. Under Data Source, search for Search Console
   
   
4. Click Continue
5. Click Proceed to confirm you want to link Google Ads and Search Console
   
   
6. Enter the URL of the site you want to link and click Link Site
   
   
   
7. An association request will be sent to the site owner for verification of ownership.
8. Once your account has been linked, you have proven ownership of the domain and your phone numbers should be verified.

Previous Google Ads Appearance

You can do this by following the below steps:

1. Log into your Google Ads account
2. Select Tools from the upper right hand menu
3. Under the Setup section, click Linked Accounts
4. Click Details under the Search Console tile, then click Link
5. Enter the URL of the site you want to link, then click Continue
   
   
   
   
6. Once your account has been linked, you have proven ownership of the domain and your phone numbers should be verified.
