Configure a custom number format for Dynamic Number Insertion

The WildJar tracking code automatically swaps your tracking numbers using the most common and standard format for your country. If you need the format your dynamic tracking numbers to be in a custom format, for example, if you are targeting international callers or want to match a custom format on your website, you can update this easily.

1. Click Dynamic Insertion in the main menu
   
   
2. Select the website domain.
   If you haven't set one up already, you will need to add a Dynamic Number Insertion configuration first.
3. If you are adding a new number, click + Add Number
   If you are updating an existing criteria, click the swap rule you wish to update and skip to Step 7.
4. Select the medium you would like to track from the list (Tip: if you need to use a custom medium, type it in the text box and then select it from the list)
5. Select the source you would like to track from the list (Tip: if you need to use a custom source, type it in the text box and then select it from the list)
6. Enter the number on the website to be replaced
7. Select the tracking number to be shown
8. Click advanced to toggle the advanced section
   
   
9. Under Custom Return, enter the tracking number in the required format.
   
   
10. Click Confirm
11. Then click Save
