Change a tracking number’s name

There are two types of tracking number name in the WildJar platform: the Tracking Name and Tracking Source.

The Tracking Name is a unique name to identify a specific number.

The Tracking Source, on the other hand, can be used to group multiple tracking numbers in WildJar reports (eg. used to show calls to a number pool as one source in reports).

We recommend using a descriptive name for your tracking number as this will be used in all WildJar reports. Changing the tracking number’s name will also update its name in reports for all previous calls to this number.

Update the name of your tracking numbers

1. Click on Numbers in the left-hand menu.
2. Click on the number name you want to update.
3. Click Number Details from the number details pane.
   
   
   
   
4. Update the Tracking Name and/or Tracking Source as required.
   
   
   
   
5. Click Save
